In this field Nexus works with end-customers both directly and through partners. Together with WM-data Nexus has created, for example, secure identification and signing for authorities’ e-services, such as building permit applications, medical record administration and medical prescriptions.
Nexus was recently awarded the prestigious assignment to help the German armed forces build a security centre. In this project we are a subcontractor of T-Systems and will deliver the central PKI components – the different CA systems – for issuing, managing and validating digital identities. Nexus was chosen because of the guaranteed rapid establishment of the security centre and because our software is flexible and compatible.
Nexus also works with security plans, risk analyses, security policies, instructions, security processes and organisational issues with several state administrative organisations in Sweden. The objectives of our customers’ operations often prove decisive in determining the required technical and administrative measures to be taken.
A few example projects:
1. Incident management: establishing routines for different IT-related incidents.
2. Continuity planning: for the development of effective routines and measures in the event of a major disruption in IT operations.
3. Input data fields inspection: a review to locate any shortcomings in input data fields to prevent intrusion and information manipulation.
4. Secure identification and signing: for the implementation of 24/7 agency objectives, that is, to offer agency services as e-services, such as tax returns, applications, medical records and prescriptions.
